Would you want a traditional wedding if you aren't a traditional girl?
Like a white dress for (purity) etc.. if you are still relatively young but have slept with several men you weren't married to..

This was a radio talk show topic and just made me wonder how many women or men thought about it.

The topic was how women want a traditional man (open doors, pull out chairs.. etc) , traditional type things, but yet they are not willing to be traditional themselves. I thought it was an interesting topic.

IDK, I think that if having a traditional wedding isn't important to you, then you shouldn't spend the money on it. Just elope!
I do not want a traditional wedding; I am not a traditional girl... I want to get married on a beach wearing a white sundress... not a puffy frilly traditional gown..

I feel like weddings are only enjoyable for the people getting married, so since I don't want it, I'm not going to have it..
I would still want a traditional wedding. Not very many are still virgins until marriage but most still wear a white dress, It's just traditional and most people just go with it.
I'm not a traditional girl. And my wedding wasn't traditional at all, I got married in Las Vegas by an Elvis Presley preacher. And I wore a black and white dress. I never cared if a man opens the door for me or not. It's cute when my husband does it but he doesn't have to.
i want a traditional wedding with the white dress and all;

but im not the stereotypical girl that wants the guy to be traditional in the sense of opening door's for me and all.

it's 2009 and these day's kid's at the age of 14 are losing their virginity.
im sure their are what we call "pure" females out their but its hard to find one that is.
But the white dress doesnt only represent purity;
its symbolic in reference to a wedding day.

when you think wedding you think white gown :)
That's hard to put all together into one convenient answer. I mean, I'll admit ive been w/ a few men before I was not married to, but a nice man who opens doors and things doesn't mean he's necessarily "traditional." I think you have to think about the times we live in too. My finance is a gentlemen who opens doors and likes to pay for things, etc. But on the other hand, we aren't traditional people who would want a traditional wedding. I personally want a colored dress like gwen stefani's. I don't think traditional when it comes to men is necessarily the right word. Maybe...gentlemanly. Ya, sorry if that was a lot of babble, I have a random mind, lol.
Even if you aren't a traditional girl doesn't mean you can't have some traditional elements. Example for me I am wearing a white dress but it has black lace details. Semi-Traditional with the white but my own spin with the black. I like it when my honey opens my doors and stuff like that but at the same time I am very modern woman and would do the same for him. It just depends on who you are and what you like.
