What is the name of the childrens' book about a girl orphan who is sent to live with her uncle in a
before living with her uncle she had been in an orphanage where she was bullied by the other girls and her only photo of her father was ripped up. It was set in Victorian times and was a mystery about some missing pearls and a rocking horse. In the end her uncle turned out to be a wicked imposter and her father was still alive. I would love to give this book to my daughter but just can't remember the name. Thank you!!

Edit: It is definitely not Heidi since Heidi's uncle was a good man and it wasn't set in Victorian times; it was set in the mountains. Your recollection sounds like a cross between A Little Princess and Annie. The "Victorian times" conjures up memories of A Little Princess and I think if it was Annie you wouldn't have any trouble remembering that.
