I wanted to not do the traditional table and chairs in the dining room. My dining room is small so i was looking for long white cushioned benches that can be doubled as storage. where can i find?

i used some solvent one other time and i have a project to clean chairs in a resturant that have not been cleaned in years. i also need to do the tables,which aren't as bad. i've tried murphy's soap, degreaser, and misc products to no avail and i need something to get it done easily as i have 200 to do.

I have 40 year old dining room chairs that were finished in a antique greenish white (UGLY). I want to restain them in a natural looking wood finish. Do I need to strip the old finish? Do I need to apply a base? HELP!!!!! Thanks much.

I just purchased wood chairs from a chinese restraunant that have polyurethane and soy sauce on them. I already used pine sol and a scrubie sponge. It took most of the grime off, but they are still sticky. Should I continue or should I stop and use something else? I just want to make sure I'm not damaging the wood before I get a chance to enjoy them.

As a single parent I cannot afford to buy two new chairs right away. Is there a product or something I can do to save or reinforce them making them sturdy for about another two months (especially quickly so we don't have to eat Thanksgiving dinner on the floor). My kids are not able to eat dinner at the same time b/c I only have one good chair left, help this is a nightmare!

Why do we sit on hard wood chairs in the dining room, but our patio furniture is padded? We sit outside for a barbecue, so it's not because we're eating. For that matter, even some toilet seats are padded.

It's a custom made Adirondack chair. The only problem with it is that while being made the wood got split, but it is out of site and under the chair. It's still really durable and can hold more than 200 pounds. It's a nice chair but it seems like re cushioning it costs more than the chair itself. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to do it myself... anything would be great!! :) Thanks in advance

I am looking for to buy a pine rocking chair to fit into my babies nursery. I live in Newcastle upon tyne. I have checked Ebay and all chairs for sale are collection only, and non are from this area. Any ideas of any shops who stock rocking chairs. Thanks.
